Happy New Year Fran…..Thinking about New Years is kind of funny. One day, hours and seconds makes the differene between the last year and a new year. There’s really no difference between yesterday and today, but because we have a compulsion, maybe a need, to mark time, we care. Last night, the difference between 11:59 pm and 12:00 pm meant a great deal to us. We are creatures of time and that’s what separates us from all other life on earth. My dogs and cats don’t care about time and it’s the same for all other creatures. So, we will mark time all through 2006 and 2007, and beyond, and beyond, if we are all lucky.

Hi Ben,

Happy New Year to your, too. Thanks for stopping by.

I know what you mean about being creatures of time. I know it's a human construct but it certainly is powerful. Like the miners who were buried and the one with the watch keep lying to them and telling them less time had passed than was accurate. They all lived and survived the ordeal - all but the time keeper.

I don't wear a watch anymore. ;-)

Happy New Year Fran. I've just finished reading Mashed - really liked it. I will have to be more vigilant (diligent actually) so as not to have any more of those potato photo opportunities to display on Blissed.

Callisto,

Thanks for reading "Mashed." I'm glad you enjoyed my little spud tale, but don't worry - they're harmless...I think. ;-)

Thank you again for the awesome pic. I'll be posting it here to on the blog, as well, to promote the story. I'll let you know when it goes live. Was the credit attribution okay?

Happy New Year Fran! It's so nice to finally be home in Santa Fe for the beginning of 2006--which is going to be full of wonderful satori kicks, I am certain.

Good to see you, Erik, and thanks for stopping. Thanks also for the link to your blog. I'll stop by iSpillit to see what you're up to these days. You're one of the busiest guys I know.

Happy New Year!

Hmm, nearly six full days and no news from Yada. Must be a busy New Year.
Fran Friel said…
Well, yes, busy indeed, but do forgive my absence. The Feast will be backing Yada-ing away very soon.

Thanks for checking in and proding me along, Chris.
